Festive Dec's

Whilst the chilly wind whips round the exterior of the grade 2 listed cottage i like to call home, and the interior gets a hell of a make over, Sam and I get festive and make a gingerbread home of our own.
Proud to announce that, yes, the gingerbread is made from scratch...

Happy Holidays Y'all

Lonely Heart Club

"Doing the garden, digging the weeds/Who could ask for more?"

Going to have to trot on down to Penny Lane in these Sgt. Pepper Lonely Heart Club Desert Boots (Clarks Originals) when i get my mits on them.

Clarks Originals desert boots will be avaiable in January 2012. I can't wait that long.

Fatboy

Selling the Harley Davidson '91 black and chrome Fatboy had only one positive. Mums biker boots were now mine.

I've lived in these since i became a size 6 and have finally found true appreciation amongst my Brightonian Homemates [housemates suggest unhappiness and discontent]

No wheat loss here, grainy grainy,

Literally wear these to every event imaginable with the exception of maybe a wedding and to work...Although i did wear them in a wedding dress on Monday...

Metallic Madame

This time last year, words can not describe my thorough dislike for anything 'metallic' however less than 365 days later, i can't get enough of it...madness.

An afternoon leisurely strolling predominantly around John Lewis, Bluewater,i eventually found myself in one of my least favourite shops on the high street- River Island. However, between reluctantly shuffling around the rails and glancing adoringly and some Karen Millen 09-esque vibrant patterned heels, plastered with McQueen 10-esque spikes and studs, i found this little treasure...
A girls night out at Madame Geisha which had been sacked off until the last minute resulted in a rush to the wardrobe an inevitable fabulous night out

Harri; gold blazer- River Island, demin shorts - American Eagle, NYC,
Anna; plum shorts-Topshop and chiffon blouse.

Thinking about making a second appearance on Thursday whilst tantalising my taste buds in the capital, after a glam afternoon temporary tattoo-ing and glitter transferring the oxford st hooligans with Skin Art.

Tanti Baci

The first thing that sprung to mind when i found out Milan was a confirmation on the school trip this winter, was the delectable, delicious and distinctive dolce that is "Baci." Cheekily, also an infamous mating call from the bello raggazzo loitering the piazza's to the bella raggazzi sweeping the shops.

"Ciao bellaaaaaa...baci baci baci"

'Italian stallions' sure aren't short of a shot of confidence.

A strong wave of nostalgia swiftly followed, of an Italian exchange i eagerly took part in nearly 6 years ago in the quaint region of Bologna, in northern Italy. Too much limone gelato was consumed, too many fabulous pairs of Converse were purchased and too much glorious home made italian food was consumed. Grazia Annachiara.

Piazza Maggiore, Bologna.

The countdown begins....

Gucci Graze + Coco Cuts.

Just another fad available to the masses who cant afford satins and silks, furs and frills or leather and lace from this seasons designer collection or designer dressings, portrayed as a wealth boaster to rival parents on the playground, enhanced when your sons au pair wacks this on his knee after soccer practice.

Back and blue.

Been a while.
but i'm back and blue...

Last thursday i had a training day at Lee Stafford HO.
After a 'reem' detour to Brentwood, a toilet stop at Windsor Leisure Centre, 3 petrol stops, some practical fun, a fire alarm and some form filling, I left Reading with a sack of goodies, peacock effect ends, a swallow on my collar bone and a black glitter heart on my wrist. Hyped up and ready for a night out with my leopard leggings in Leighton Buzzard.

Skin Art, Lee Stafford and Colour Extreme take to the hustle and bustle of Clothes Show Live 2011 at Birmingham NEC at the beginning of December. The Lee Stafford stand sits alongside Juicy Couture and boasts a team of glam girls in black tutu's and hot pink LS tee's.
Come along for a huge selection of treats, discontinued and discounted products, hair tattoos and sprays, glitter tattoos, and fab transfer tattoos to take you back to those Cheetos freebie holiday moments, but with added glamour and glitz.

Today's blue brunette;

Apply Colour Extreme white hair spray and dry for a base, then layer Colour Extreme Hair Art in blue, dry with a hairdryer to enhance colour and reapply to create a stronger colour. Add purple directly onto the blue to achieve a blended and softer approach. finish with Lee Stafford Hold Tight hair spray and Aragon Oil to moisture hair and add supple softness.

Vitamin C

Even though Jack Frost has been back these early uni mornings, i'll be fighting back any lingering winter bugs this season.

With thanks to Prada's delicious collection, tangerine has hit my shabby-chic wardrobe hard.

Zara have supplied me with a divine dress- a fraction of the price this simular scrummy number is, i found a juicy leather tangerine tassle bag in the scruffy designer knock off store; Century 21 (NYC) and (cringe) New Look put the cherry on the cake with a chiffon top, boasting a black backed, gold zip down the back. Both compliment my new goatskin blend, white and walnut tassle peep-toe sling-backs perfectly!

A lemon, pleated, above the knee skirt is also hanging ripely amoungst the tangerine, with thanks to the succulent spanish store, Zara, and the influences of Gucci RTW.

All i need now is a glass of Pouilley Fume, a bottle of Piz Buin and villa in Tuscany.

Lotta Love for the Laurel

Simple Snap.
Never Naked
Black and white Beauty.

If someone told me they'd just had a brand logo tattooed on them, i would be mortified for them, and assume they were intensely intoxicated or highly high.

However. my love for this is inexpressible.

Craig says;

"After building up a collection of Fred Perry Polo's (16 in total), footwear and cardigans, the next natural step had to be a tattoo...
For my 21st birthday, I got the Fred Perry Laurel tattooed on my chest, as if it were embroidered on a polo.

This photo was taken at my local beach in the sunshine!

Now I've always got a Fred Perry polo on..."

With thanks to Fred Perry's 'Tell Us Your Story' online feature.
